Message from Revd Simon Cash, Rector of Dewsbury Team Parish

This week we are being encouraged to focus upon the theme of ‘Generosity’

Please note that the service at St John’s tomorrow morning at 10-30am will be a ‘Thrive’ service which Neil will be leading.

Next week our theme will be ‘Gratitude’ and so with this in mind it will also be our Harvest Service. This year I have decided that our Harvest gifts should go towards the work of CARE Dewsbury. They have a particular need at the moment for the following:-

INSTANT COFFEE

SUGAR

CHOPPED PORK TINS

HAM TINS

SARDINES TINS

JARS OF MEAT PASTE

CRISPS (INDIVIDUAL PACKETS)

FRESH FRUIT

If you can help by providing some of these items please bring them along to church next Sunday and we will ensure that they get to CARE Dewsbury.

Finally, please also find attached a reminder of tomorrow evening’s Churches Together United Service at the Minster at 6-30pm. It would be good to see as many of you there as possible to support our unity as the Church in Dewsbury.

With every blessing

Simon
